IMPORTANT:

• Computers: Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop capable of running program MARK and R; program MARK requires a Windows Operating System. Laptops can be provided during the workshop with advanced noticed; if you would like to borrow a laptop, please let us know ASAP. 
• Software/programs: Prior to arrival, please install* the following programs (if you have not already done so) on your computer:
  • R – Instructions can be found at www.r-project.org. 
  • MARK – Instruction can be found at http://www.phidot.org/software/mark/. 
  • RStudio (optional but recommended) – Instructions can be found at https://posit.co/download/rstudio-desktop/. 
  • Notepad++ (optional but recommended) - Instructions can be found at https://notepad-plus-plus.org/.

*If you are working on a government or university computer, you may need to obtain permissions from your IT support or administrator to complete installations.
